Welcome to my site!

I am a fifth-year doctoral student in the Department of Economics at University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research primarily focuses on geographic and familial influences in human capital development and economic mobility, with secondary interests in mental health and issues pertaining to the rural United States. I am honored to be receiving support from the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

I won't be at the ASSA interviews for a while, but feel free to contact me at garrett.anstreicher@gmail.com anytime.
