Welcome to my site!

I am a fourth-year doctoral student in the Department of Economics at University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research focuses on how local labor market conditions influence human capital accumulation and how this in turn plays into broader patterns of inequality and mobility. Secondary interests include mental health and issues pertaining to the rural United States. I am honored to be receiving support from the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

I won't be at the ASSA interviews for a while, but feel free to contact me at garrett.anstreicher@gmail.com anytime.
